This private residence is located to the south of the McKay creek in the District of North Vancouver.
Due to it's proximity to the creek, we were required to acommodate a 15 meter setback. This resulted in a narrow strip of land which posed design challenges.
Despite the land restrictions, we managed to build a total square footage of 4,468 including the basement.
The main floor plan is designed on an open concept plan with family room, kitchen, living and dining all facing the creek. Connected to the kitchen is a large patio with sun roofs along the north side of the building and a 2 story entrance lobby.
This private residence includes a media room, sauna, wine cellar and 1 large bedroom in the basement, an office on the main floor and 3 bedrooms with ensuites, one of which is the master bedroom - all on the top floor.
Building exterior finishing materials include cultured stone, stucco, and Hardie siding.
